More utter BS. None of the land involved was homesteaded by Bundy. Any improvements made were to benefit his cattle not the land.

Much of the land was never allotted in any way to Bundy.

And I think that the grazing of cattle on scrub desert needs tight control. Anyone who think cowboys won't waste the area they graze just does not know enough cowboys. And sure it is an accident that there is a high component of feral cows in Bundy's herds. Sure...just unlucky. Bet they all end up in Bundy's pocket in the end.

People have not "had enough". Virtually none even understand the issue as has been well illustrated this week. A sanctimonious operator has again screwed the system for another couple of years of operation. And he may even manage to write a book and make some real money.
All those people didn't show up to support a small rancher in the middle of nowhere. They showed up to face off against an out of control government.

The claim has been made that Bundy has explicitly cost the taxpayers money by grazing cattle on land that is then repaired and maintained by the BLM. I'm asking for that claim to be validated by evidence that the BLM has performed maintenance and repairs on the land in question. Again, if they haven't performed any maintenance then Bundy's cattle haven't resulted in any loss to the taxpayers.
I think Bundy should quit trespassing on land he doesn't own. If Bundy want his cattle to eat and crap on that land, let Bundy buy that land and pay the property tax for it. Instead, Bundy is freeloading.

That would be about laws. We are a nation of laws.

Tell me about that when Clapper gets charged with perjury and the very first banker gets charged with something.

Which is actually scarier yet....I will die to defend the indefensible? I throw my blood to the tree of stupidity?

Do you think many of those who were out there can define what it was they were defending?

I don't. and that is pretty scarey...and likely to waste some good blood.
