While the Senate was debating equal pay for women on Tuesday, Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) took to the floor to criticize President Barack Obama for allowing states to weaken the punishments for using marijuana and other drugs.
If he is really for states rights, wouldn't he be cheering states taking their rights from the federal government?

That he want's smaller government unless it's punishing pot smokers by putting them in private prisons that give him kick backs, enforcing restrictions on what happens in people's bedrooms, and keeping homosexual's from marrying. This silliness has gotten to the point even Fox News is pointing out they are getting on the wrong side of issues. Even Fox News pointed out that if they wish to have people vote for the GOP alternative to the ACA...they should actually have a plan instead of mumbling it's coming sometime.

Leave it to the GOP to call for big government while waving the small government flag in front of their voters.

Do you have anything to actually say, or all you got is being an ass?

Can always vote libertarian. Those that wish smaller government and states rights that currently vote for the GOP should.

It only makes sense.

I don't understand a federal government that brings law suits against states for one law but excuses other laws. Who wants to live in a country that lets potheads abundantly thrive but encourages voter fraud, baby murdering and corrupt lifestyles. Sounds like a corrupt low class country to me. It is more like a corrupt third world country. You elect a corrupt person for president and that is what you get. Pothead president, pothead country.

Why do some assume that every Democrat wants larger government?
