President Obama in March 18th of 2008 gave a speech to address the Rev Wright situation. It was widely covered and widely praised by the American people.
Because he conned the press (not hard to do, they were his cheerleaders) and the entire country. It wasn't a Rev. Wright situation. It was an 'Obama was a member of a racist BLT church for over 20 years, got married in a racist BLT church, and had his daughters baptized in a racist BLT church' situation.
Where did the press comment on these racist BLT beliefs:

I tried. You can lead someone to water.... we all know the rest.
But the sad fact is that Black Liberation Theology is an EXTREMELY racist and harmful theology. Electing Obama, a 20+ year member of a racist BLT church, is no different than electing a member of stormfront. Both are EXTREMELY racist.
The quagmire is why race will be an issue for the foreseeable future.....because things will remain socioeconomically unequal because society will never succeed at finding the will to favor the oppressed group.....at a cost to the dominant group, to the degree that it removes the supremacy of the dominant group.
Your premise is that race will remain an issue because of socioeconomic inequality.
The reason for this socioeconomic inequality is that society does not have the "will" to favor blacks over others.
The goal of this favoritism is to remove a supposed state of supremacy.

There is no and there has never been a guarantee for socioeconomic equality in this country. Only equality in law. No one owes you or anyone else socioeconomic equality as long as the law does not restrict your freedom to achieve prosperity on par with others. Notion of entitlement in socioeconomic equality is a communist ideal. This is not a communist country. In fact, we fought two bloody wars and one extremely long Cold War against the Communists. This country will never rise to meet your sense of socioeconomic entitlement.
The good news is that you and other black people can arrive their via your own efforts, just like me and everyone else who was never given anything.
You sit at your keyboard and type about needing favoritism to achieve prosperity. Everyone else figures out what is necessary to achieve that prosperity on their own (its much easier in the internet age) and does that thing. Then we have to listen to your incessant whining about supremacy. Grow up, become an American, and stop being a victim. You have all of the equality that you will ever need in law. Take advantage of affirmative action while it still exists (tic toc), and get to work like everyone else.
Or maybe you just hate the white majority for being a majority. Good ol' fashioned racism is unfortunately the mainstream liberal de rigeur these days. In my opinion, it isn't spending your social capital wisely but that's your choice. The future results will be yours to deal with.

No. The reason for the socioeconomic inequality is that society, for over 300 years, had the "Will" to disfavor blacks. The fact that society does not offer an offset only conserves or preserves socioeconomic racial gaps.

The goal is to undo the damage done to blacks which will create the corollary of above. Note, there will always be richer and poorer people. However, blacks, whites and Native Americans are the only groups in America where the vast majority of those people are at least 5th generation Americans or more. These groups should, therefore, not be experiencing such great socioeconomic gaps as exist....if not for racial oppression.
Is that right?

Where did I say anything about entitlement. I just gave a mathematical analysis for solving inequalities and how inequalities are created mathematically. Is mathematics entitlement?

Again, I just presented math as a foundation for reasoning. Europeans did not figure it out when they were in Europe living under oppression and repression....did they? Instead Europeans were lifted up by taking the land and labor of others the allowing Europeans to colonize these lands and oppress others to the benefit of Europeans.

Did you mean any one race? The entire world population is bias towards their own race, it's only noticed or cared about if it's white people considered bias.
