as much as you are right, i think it is even more concrening that a member of the main stream American Media is an outright commie lover.
good grief.
My grandmother had several Vichy water bottles that she kept on a shelf in her home as collector's items. It didn't mean she was a supporter of the pro-Nazi Vichy French government.

Carney/Shipman don't have some oddity collectors item. They have posters from the Soviets who murdered MILLIONS...
From democidal or genocidal regimes? Yes. Who doesn't?
Like I said...
Why do liberals complain about pick up trucks or business establishments sporting the confederate flag?
Why do Blacks complain about burning crosses?
Why do Jewish people complain about swastikas?
Think about it...
I don't. I find some of the movies that were produced at the time and under the supervision of the Soviet government quite interesting. I find the artwork that Mr Carney has put on his wall quite visually striking. It's quite representative of a bold and yet spare style that was typical of the 1930's and 1940's.
I quite like Russian vodka, and there's nothing like borscht.
It's fascinating to watch conservatives who've been quite admiring of Putin, but because this artwork, and it is ART, dates back to the Stalin-era, they desperately try to make something out of it.
When I was a college student I had lots of posters that dated back to the 1930's and 1940's. It's quite a rich era, globally, for this kind of artwork. I wish I'd held on to some of them and framed them. Particularly some of the Hopper magazine covers, where the color palate was quite limited. They were distinctive, just like these posters are distinctive.
I know someone who has decorated her home with Thomas Kincaid pieces. Now that's offensive!

Do you not understand that the Stalin-era Soviet government murdered 20 million of its own citizens?

How many from a regime that murdered 20 million of its own citizens? Was mass democide a personal favorite of yours? Good to know...

Yes. I understand that Stalin was a terrible man. It doesn't mean that the Bolshoi ballet was terrible when Stalin was in power.
