Under what authority do you make this claim?

There's nothing sane about a liberal who thinks a nuclear war would be started over a fighter being shot out of the sky. More emotional blabber for the know-nothings.

This was a taunt....the clear purpose being to expose a weak US President. Why else would it be done? On the world stage, this actually means something. But to liberals? The sooner they can change the subject, the better.

Yeah, a war would be a real blast, wouldn't it?

So, shooting down an unarmed jet would have demonstrated the President to be a stronger leader, if not insane?

For this particular event, please expand on your reasoning.

There would certainly be a recon pass made, although the definition of "buzzing" is variable.

It would unecessarily escalate the situation over something that Navies do to each other every day.

To conservatives, they have a "shoot first" mentality that underscores their man-love for Comrade Putin.

To thinking people, discretion is the better part of valor.

Being goaded into shooting at an aircraft that is not shooting at you is how a wingnut would react. Thank God the Bush-Cheney era went down in flames in Iraq. Let's hope that our government learned some hard lessons from that debacle.
