Really genius what party is pushing for a carbon tax...hmmm...I'll give you one guess!
So?
It sure doesn't seem to be hurting oil production does it, "genius"?
You keep clinging to these stoooooopid claims that are simply not backed up by the REALITY of what is ACTUALLY HAPPENING.
Why don't you look at what's actually happening instead simply repeating the same old dumb GOP dogma you heard on Hannity that's at odds with real life?
Simply repeating that nonsense over and over again doesn't make it so - it just makes you look ignorant.
Geeze!!!

So far no...but give the radical socialist a few more years and we shall see. Genius

And it WON'T hurt U.S. production, but if this "radical socialist" who's presiding over a surge in U.S. energy production wants to get that "war" underway, he'd sure better hurry.
The whole "radical socialist" bit is just as much nonsense as the rest of what you've claimed, "genius".
Join the REAL word instead of the wingnut alternate reality where Obama is a "social" waging a "war" on fossil fuels (by boosting it's production apparently - a novel approach I have to admit).

Oh no he's not a radical socialist...Im sure he and his buddy Bill Ayers talked about the virtues of American capitalism over the years while listening to Rev Wright love sermons.

See, there you go yet AGAIN talking about what people SAY (last time it was what Obama said, this time it's what SOMEONE ELSE said) rather than what Obama ACTUALLY DOES. I don't give a rip what Bill Ayers said or what Rev Wright says any more than I care what Billy Graham says or what Oral Roberts said. They are not President, their opinions are not my concern. I care what Obama DOES and what happens during his Presidency - and what happened during his Presidency is that US oil production has surged while US oil consumption has fallen through the use of increasely efficient US cars - and those are both GOOD THINGS.
I'm not going to look through the thread, but did the OP read this part of the article?
Quote:
Several factors could push prices much higher. Every time the crisis in Ukraine flares, oil prices react with gains. Even if an interruption of energy from Russia hits, oil prices in the United States may not be affected. But the psychology of energy prices is based almost as much on speculation as fact. Crude has just reach $104.66, its highest level in a year. Additional upward pressure on the price has been exerted by news that the Chinese economy remains robust, even if its first-quarter gross domestic product numbers were a little disappointing at 7.4%.
