In fact we actually have some of the lowest prices at the pump in the world due to the constant welfare payments to oil companies. Other countries achieved their low pump prices by taking over the oil companies and not running them as welfare moochers but instead for the public good.
This

But it's still fun to blame a single person
right?

We can thank the Saudi petroleum marketers for the temporarily lower prices as they try to stop any more investment in alternative supplies of oil or energy. They have done this before and will do it again until the are the last supplier on the planet.

I can assure you if i was president...I know what many of you must be thinking what a scary thought...However I would easily by able to drop gas prices in the $1.00 range...

1. approve the keystone pipeline

2. open restricted federal lands and offshore drilling to further oil exploration

3. reduce or eliminate the federal gas tax

4. build more oil refineries

5. Eliminate or cutback on EPA regulations

"Voila" ---$1.00 a gallon which would give the economy a huge boost!!!

And yes the economy IS growing and the number of people on foodstamps is generally falling - down by about 1.3 MILLION in the last year. Food stamp usage peaked at the end of 2012 and has been gradually coming down ever since.
Really Kenny...thats why 70% think the country is heading in wrong direction...anyways keep circling the wagon for the dear leader...

Dont you want to do your fair share and pay more?

Yeah, didnt make any sense when they said it either..
But according to right-wing kooks, Obama hates the oil companies and wants gas at $5 a gallon because he will not open up ANWAR and the Oceans to drilling. Then how do you explain this drop?

And that is why you will never be President. You have no clues what you are talking about.

Reality isn't defined by "what people think".

Nearly 30% of Americans believe Bigfoot is real - that doesn't mean Bigfoot is real.
Reality is what reality is - and what people 'think" it is doesn't change that.
Reality isn't defined by what is "popular".
Aside from that, Obama STILL has a higher approval rating than nearly any other elected official in D.C. - either Democrat OR Republican.
