So now that the ACA has not failed as the GOP had hoped and prayed for, do Republicans plan to campaign on the promise to take healthcare away from millions of newly insured Americans?
Yeah, that sounds like another winning strategy...
People still don't like it. And there's still A LOT we haven't seen yet. With that being said, it is true that it needs to be replaced and not merely repealed - and this is what the GOP needs to run on.

Not true. Even dimwitted Republicans are down to only 51% opposed to it while the rest have figured out their own party has been lying to them and many, many of them have learned their costs actually have gone down. Often substantially down. Even the spineless Democrats, and they pretty much cowards, have figured out that public opinion has changed, just like every intelligent person said would happen, and they're actually starting to speak out in support of this success. Once people got a chance to look at it and see that the Republican lies were all nonsense they are now moving strongly in support of the ACA. Just in the last three months support moved up 20 points.
The same thing happened when Medicare was introduced. Republicans claimed doom and gloom, made up lies, while dirt bags like Ronald Reagan babbled nonsense about communism and government take overs but once people saw Medicare they decided they liked what they saw and now even Republicans have to pretend they'll protect Medicare. The same thing is happening, but even faster, with the ACA.
