We should get rid of all regulations, right?

After all, it's only government getting in the way of business. And we all know we'd be perfectly fine drinking mercury and inhaling hydrocarbons if the energy sector's profits inched up a few percent.

I can. And it's more effective than voting for the mainstream Dems and Reps. It's called voting with your pocketbook.

Unfortunately, it is true. Yes, government tries to break up monopolies but they also create and sustain them.

Linking to Mises regarding capitalism is like linking to Microsoft about Xbox 360s.

Ahh, the glory days...

And history tells us that Government creates and sustains monopolies like utilities, railroads, etc.

I'm sure you pine for the days when Vanderbilt became the richest man on earth through the help of government.

Hmmm.... last time I checked I had a huge range of choices. Dozens of car companies, computer companies, restaurants, golf club companies, clothing companies, etc, etc.

Yes, it is sweet.
