Indirectly, it does. If you have more kids then you have more stuff to be taxed, hypothetically, that is.
A bigger home, more vehicles, etc.

In most states you can get a good share of your property taxes back on the land your home is on....I think we got about 80% back.....and your taxable income is low enough.

Where we live the taxes are low....however, we have no fire department.

You also can have your taxes and house insurance in your mortgage payment.

Overpopulation is a problem in this country. I live in Manhattan, so I should know.

People who have kids should pay property tax. If I don't have kids, and I plan on homeschooling them if I do have kids. I should be EXEMPT.

So you want us to believe you actually own property in Manhattan? Well if you don't like high property taxes, you could always move out of Manhattan to someplace that has low property taxes.

No, if you own property in a place that has property taxes, you should have to pay those property taxes.
