we didn't own Vietnam either, but some, I repeat, SOME of our soldiers went over there, and raped those women, then took their knives and slit them right up the middle.
You think this world is lilly white? We are men, and men are driven by money, power and sex. What does it take for people like you, to understand, we are not the RED, WHITE and BLUE that you would like to believe. We are men that used to govern our land by morals...and let me explain another thing, you cannot go out and govern a world when your own house is falling apart. You cannot tell others how to live their lives, when your own home needs a thorough cleaning and a 2nd take on morals. You cannot maintain a world when all government representatives are corrupt.

I have argued about the old civil war and what it was about and was called a racist. I know all the lies and argue against them and am called an idiot. We didn't "steal" anybody's land. Like I said if you feel so sorry for inidans go hand em your wallet at the local casino. Every piece of land has been fought over........you snooze you lose so to say. I guess in your opinion.....in reality...........it is England's fault for letting us even come over here. Take it up with the queen. Who is she to let evil white folks go where they want.
Against the will of the American people? Those evil people singed up by the droves to go fight in WWII. Go talk to an old guy. My father in law lied to sign up as he wasn't old enough at the the time and ended up a POW for two years and lost his leg. Nobody drug him anywhere and I'd bet if he were still alive he'd take a swing at you for even saying that. He some bad American? I guess so.
I guess this is how far down we have come down now. All for me anymore. Back in the day folks fought or worked for the cause. Freedom.............lost cause I guess. I will continue on though and when they ship me off to the DHS gulag so be it.
Chief... you're missing the point. As a whole the American people wanted for the most part to stay out of it. Yes people signed up and once we were attacked there was a wave of sign ups, but don't forget we had a draft too. Christ, I had two grandfathers who fought in the war. Nobody is dismissing what the troops did back then or calling them bad guys. We were attacked, and responded. However; you can't discount that our government didn't have a hand in pulling the strings to draw us into the war. IMO WWII really was the last relevant war that we fought in. This is not a slam to Vietnam vets either, because they did what they had to do in order to survive. I mean, you drop me into a s***hole like that with the threat of getting my a** shot off, I'm going to do what I have to do to survive. However; that doesn't mean I support our government and them putting those troops in harms way. They went there under the guise of stopping the spread of communism. Ummm, yeah.... how did that work? Oh wait? They're still communist, AND we now trade with that country!!! GO F***N' FIGURE!!!
Again this is not a slam on the troops. It is a slam against the policies (today and not during WWII) that dupe them, and put them in harms way. Our military was not intended to be the world police force. It was meant to keep our country safe. And I don't subscribe to the BS "well we have to fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here!" What a crock! I say for any country that wants to try it, then bring it on if they're big and bad enough! If anything, our country won't fall from another foreign force. We'll fall from within due to our own divisivness!

My thought is this... we can't change the past, nor should those of us around today be guilty for the sins of some long dead people of this nation's past. Learn from the past, and move on.

I don't believe anyone hates the U.S., I think us old timers hate to see what has happened to it....
what a crying shame, and the younger generation doesn't know what it was, so to them, this is acceptable.....
