Not that anyone should be raped, but seriously who can really be this stupid to believe this stuff actually works?

You would think that someone who actually has "powers" would get his supplies at the 99 cent store?

That's what happens when people have a superstistion based belief system instead of a scientific one. Beliefs in things like spiritual cleansing, creationism, holy book literalism, spirits form the afterlife, crystal powers, vaccine denialism...they pay for their ignorance, usually in only buying fake crap that does nothing. Onlt when it crosses the line in criminal behavior, or threatening people's very lives, do the authorities take action.

Otherwise the duped fight the authorities to keep getting fleeced.

Is this a knock on spiritual workers or what? Just trying to understand why its national news when many people commit rape.

Many leaders in the Catholic church raped little boys and women as well. Does that discredit the entire religion?
