The rural urban line is much more recent. Only within the last 20 years or so has that been really apparent, or maybe 30 years. Didn't used to feel so different from folks in Reno back then, or them from us puncher types. But, I also remember when Hawthorne was WAY bigger than Fallon, eating at the Ormsby House for Christmas dinner, and having 99 cent ham n eggs at the Mapes.

I wish you really had a clue how funny that was.

You'd have to be a retard to not understand Reed is senile. Put his nutty ass out to pasture.
Stupid left bawls about McCain, granted hes a creep, but there's no comparison.
Harry is bananas.

There use to be a bit of a rural and north alliance. What it really did was perpetuate a northern gentry that ran the state. As is now clear the state is run by Las Vegas. The rurals are so insignificant it has become difficult to leave them with any representation in the government.

Reid is not actually a terribly popular politician. Could very well lose to a Sandoval. But the RWNs can very well find another Sharron and extend Harry's reign.

Nevada is not remotely sympathetic to Bundy which will, in the end, do him in. Las Vegas and Clark County are liberal democrat with the strange Libertarian streak of all Nevadans. But it does not extend to backing weird right wingers from the rural part of the county.

Note that the Feds run most of Nevada because Nevada asked them to. Nevada set aside the million or so acres near water sources and livable places for state administration and got the Federals to take the other 67 million acres. Nevada was fearful of the cost of maintaining services in that vast and pretty hostile space.

Yes, this is true. Reno didn't even have an FM rock station when I moved here in '78. I used to work at the Mapes. Cal-Neva's breakfast was 69 cents, draft beers were 15 cents at the Horseshoe. Those days were fun.

Just heard a great line concerning Bundy.

"Shawn Hannity has made Glenn Beck the voice of reason." Lmao.

Yeah, Harry is a creepy, grumpy old man, but someone who doesn't recognize the US government as existing, while carrying an American flag horseback, is nuttier than a fruitcake. His supporters - mostly outsiders, not Nevadans - are cowardly scumbags who would have their women shot over a stranger's food-stamp fed cows. "Happy Valentine's honey. Now get up front and eat some lead." *******. (Word meaning 'cats.')

Bundy isn't the Senate majority leader. Great party you're part of, that Democrat Party...

I will connect the dots slowly so even a liberal can understand. Harry made the statement that the ranchers standing up for their rights were terrorists. The US government has declared an official war against terrorism.
Therefore Harry as a US Senator has declared US citizens as being enemy combatants which is a declaration of war by a US official. There have been no taxes dodged, only government tyranny.

They are patriots, unlike yourself. It is Reid who is the terrorist.
