Haha, which is why a civil war or revolutionary war will never happen with you guys because you will always be "just not fed up enough."

Do you think all wars are fought with guns?

The caving in of the federal government to corporate america's wishes, as evidenced in this study:

America is an oligarchy, not a democracy or republic, university study finds - Washington Times

for instance, an unwillingness to stop illegal immigration and lunatic, job-destroying programs such as the H1-B fiasco, have enriched a few at the top and obliterated the middle class.

If this situation continues, with large amounts of middle class jobs eliminated through off-shoring and the importation of cheap foreign labor (both legal and illegal), there is going to be a massive uprising, and it will not be pretty. There are already tent cities forming across the US in many places, so when the federal government handouts run out, and people can no longer feed their families - it will be game on.

A second study here showing how the US' middle class is falling further and further behind other nations:

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/23/up...ichest.html?hp

The lunacy of importing the poor of the rest of the world, propped up with welfare dollars paid for with tax dollars from a rapidly shrinking middle class, along with the transfers of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of jobs overseas to places like china, has now come home to roost.

This mass jobs transfer destroyed the US' manufacturing base, and combined with the mass reduction of wages and career options for everyone from construction and IT workers due to the importation of cheap foreign labor - enable by compliant, tone-deaf congress whose primary goal is to satisfy its corporate benefactors - will lead to an inevitable uprising.

Personally, I give this country another 20 years at most before things explode, and am very fearful of the results. No revolution is bloodless, and given the sheer volume of weapons in the US, will likely lead to huge numbers of dead.

I pray that someone, somewhere in congress has the intelligence, courage and character to recognize that we are riding a train wreck going off the rails, and will step in and stop it.

YES. The Bundy Ranch deal, is the day armed Americans stood shoulder to shoulder, against the Federal Government making them retreat, since the civil war. It is the start of things to come.

It would be like the union thugs against the big corporate thugs fighting each other in the 1900s; even though the corporates have far less overall popularity, they have money which will buy them at least some thugs/supporters.

I probably coined this incorrectly, a civil uprising is probably a more accurate term. When people reach the point where they can no longer feed their children, i.e., have nothing left to lose, then its showtime - and it is going to get ugly.

The corporate bastards have been pushing and pushing, and the H1B atrocity and the weakening of immigration controls allowing near unfettered illegals is leading up towards a cataclysm this country has not seen in its history. Traveling across the country, one can see the rough, impoverished neighborhoods expanding, especially around the cities, and the tens of millions are simply going to begin attacking corporate symbols, stores, government buildings and workers, and then all hell is going to break loose.

The arab spring is coming to america at an urban center near you...

It was obvious by the late '70s actually, when single-parent employment was no longer sufficient and women needed to join the workforce.

Once that is no longer enough, and children are forced to work or become indentured, as the family unit can no longer feed itself - the uprising will begin.

Build the fence, send the illegals back, cap immigration at 250,000 and make sure it is highly skilled labor, maybe 50,000 for marriage.

That is it, why do we need to import people that have views that are antithetical to that of this nation?

Save a buck on lettuce or oranges? We have build machines for that..

Unless you've got F-16s, Abrams tanks, and nuclear warheads in your back pocket, you may as well forget about a "civil war." Such folks would be taken out in short order without much effort at all by the police, SWAT, para-military alphabet agencies, and the military. Your AR isn't going to stand up to chemical, biological, nuclear, and other mass destruction weapons, or even typical military weapons these days.

Our government has learned well how to efficiently control the populace from such famously efficient examples such as Hitler's Germany. The model was very effective in controlling any "static" coming from the population, with such organizations as the SS (which had hundreds of sub-agencies), gestapo, special groups of the wehrmacht, and even branches of the Waffen SS. They very effectively curbed any attempt at revolt from the average German. Such an attempt, or even attitude, put a German citizen in the death camps with the rest of the "subhumans." I don't think that would be so far far-fetched here, either. How many times have I read a line about "wiping them all off the map" (referring to those with different political philosophies). Once you've demonized and dehumanized, it's easy to kill en mass.

You may as well forget a revolution and let the police state and enslavement run it's course. Because it will at some point when we all see the folly. Even Hitler may have seen his folly at some point, had he lived.

I don't think the leftists Nazis now running the country will be satisfied until they have a massive blood killing of Americans who believe in the Constitution and Christians..so I agree with the OP but unsure of the timeline.
