Chart, Texas Prisons Are Hot Enough to Kill You
Perhaps Texas should ship all their prisoners to one of the bleeding heart states...

The way is should be, the state should do absolutely nothing for prisoner comfort.

Until one day you find yourself locked up. Or when they lock up someone you love.

Go ahead and say it..."it can't happen to me."

Myself and my family are not as dumb as the people living in the rust belt...

I'm proud to live in a state where people are treated as adults, The Castle Doctrine and the leader of prisoner executions...

Hope the prisons are sued. We can't let the uncivilized rubes of America take over. They're the same types who cheer at the idea of letting people die on the street if they don't have health insurance. Barbarians, basically.

What does this have to do with the Rust Belt?

I thought this was about Texas prisons. What in this story is related to the Rust Belt?

As for your little jpeg illustration...please.

Heavily armed and easily p*ssed? LMAO...don't make me laugh. Lone Star types run their mouths a lot, but that's about it. They ain't scaring anyone.

You're the ones who want to lock everyone up and throw away the key so it's only just you be forced to pay for the choices you make. Also we're not talking about "prisoner comforts"; we're talking about conditions which don't kill people. Yes, you will lose in court, yes, you will be forced to make the needed improvements so that conditions no longer kill people, and, yes, the tax payers of Texas will be on the hook to pay tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars in wrongful death cases. You're just being stupid but, I guess, that's the default position for most conservatives.

Amen. We're talking about pretending Texas is part of the first world.

Poo-poo to your heart's content but Texan taxpayers will still pay so, as usual, conservatives are being penny wise and pound foolish. That's par for the course though.

Kerry Max Cook. . . .

Spent 22 years on death row at a prison in Texas.

Innocent as a result of DNA evidence.

He was also raped while in prison.
