Obama is sending troops to Europe because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. If this develops into a combat situation, will Code Pink protest outside military recruiting offices, will teachers give students extra credit for skipping school to attend an anti-war protest, will public school teachers in Maine verbally harass students whose parents are in the military, will people at a 4th of July parade call a veteran in the parade "baby killer ad murderer" (Bainbridge, WA did), and will city council members ad mayor protest the war by telling Marines they're unwanted and unwelcome intruders to their city?

Not unless there is ever a conservative again in the White House. Ummmmmm......... I mean republican. There will probably never be a true conservative in the White House again.
If (and when) a republican is in the White House, then-
a. anti-war protesters can dust off thier signs, remove them from the garage, and get back to protesting.
b. the press can run stories about the homeless again
c. the press will start asking the POTUS actual questions
d. the press will start printing articles about any percieved miscalculations by the POTUS
e. liberal editorial columnists will be able to stop writing about bizarre, tangential blogs about ANYTHING that does not involve the POTUS and get back on the attack
Our nation is so screwed. We have an oligarchy in control, dems and repubs doing the same thing, and a populace (dependent on fed handouts) that does not seem to be aware or care that they are modern day serfs, as long as they can watch "American Idol".

The Obama administration has carried out many of the same neocon policies yet the media does not make one bit of noise. They just throw softball questions and praise. Why? Because the rhetoric form this administatrion is all about wealth redistribution; regardless of the fact wealth inequlaity has grown in the last 5 years. It is all about the rhetoric.

Yeah, you are attributing the actions of a few people to anyone you seem to think as left wing. Which would be about as right as if everyone started attributing Clinen Bundy's desire for continued slavery to conservatives...which I have seen you speak against Which is even funnier after all these calls that Obama is a wimp for not starting a nuclear exchage with Russia.
Secondly they are our allies, and a defensive contingent of soldiers in case of attack is part of being in NATO. Much different to defend against attack then declare Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, invade even with UN and NATO allies condemnation, and find absolutely no weapons of mass destruction.
Thankfully me and my fellow Marines serve a country where its citizens can voice their displeasure at what ever the hell they want. Some do it by taking to the streets and some do it in their underwear on the internet, either way is fine by us.
