It's controversial because too many people are still stupid and bigoted (hell, stupidity alone is probably the reason). I mean, is it that surprising that someone's wasting their time being "offended" by this?

What is real Patriotism, and what is prejudice? I honestly can see why some people can be bothered by the billboard, but I believe that everybody should be treated with respect and dignity no matter how they dress.

I don't have an issue with a soldier with a Muslim woman as such. I do have an issue in that said Muslim women is so subjugated by her mythical sky daddy and his power hungry friends that she feels the need to keep her face covered. This isn't some 3rd world craphole where women have to cover themselves to avoid offending some man's sensibilities. I thought we were past that in this country.
