Why is it that racism is so prevalent among more rural and exurban Republicans? We hear of a new neighborhood watch that was formed recently south of Harrisburg, PA by the KKK (Fairview Township mostly has rural people), and now Cliven Bundy, who couldn't help, but call black people Negroes, which is just a more "polite" way of saying n******. Suburban and urban Republicans are busy running away for the most part, except for more rural Republicans and some suburbanites on P&OC and in real life. It's gotten so ridiculous now that, I assume all rural Republicans to be racist unless proven otherwise, because so many of them, if you just let them talk long enough, eventually wear their racism on their sleeve

And don't forget that famous rural republican Harry Reid who once described Obama thusly-"light skinned" African-American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one"

Ahhh deflecting the question. Nice tactic. PS Reid apologized.....IE admitted it was wrong.

Don't try to derail and deflect. Otherwise, I and the rest of the liberals on here will take that as an acknowledgement that I am right.

Rural Republicans are a protected class. They have always run from diversity; both ethnically and thought.

Some of them still act (and believe) that we are still living in the 1800s. Despite many being lower income, they still think they are better than a black (or even brown) man simply because they are white. That is why the county that receives the most SNAP benefits (in rural Kentucky), is 99% white and voted 95% Republican. They voted for the crooks that want to take these very benefits away. What other logical reason is there?

You might want to mention to the United Negro College Fund that Negro is just a polite way to say n******. Clearly they are racists too.

And it's Cliven Bundy, not Ted. Ted died 15 years ago.
