I still have seen no left hander and new Sterling haters call out snoop for his comments.............or one who wants to be in the "new" ownership group Oprah and her comments to kill folks like Sterling. I guess they are awaiting orders to scream...........I doubt they will be issued for some reason. The old man has increased the value of his franchise by getting screamers going..............the same folks liberals hate............the evil rich..........will now swoop in to take this team and they cheer em on. It is a comedy show.

Let me make this perfectly clear: I find it hard to express how little I care about who owns what sports franchise, nor do I care one little bit about Sterling's comments. The only reason I am here is to correct those who seem to think there's a legal or even constitutional angle on this, because there isn't. Owner/CEO is caught in bad PR, handles it poorly, suffers in the pocketbook. That is the Market speaking.

No, that's not the market speaking at all. That is the commissioner of the NBA speaking, based on pressure from blacks...with teeter-tottering support from many of the other team owners.

Well I don't know how he will be suffering in the "pocketbook" as his franchise will have more bidders come to to prove they aren't racists now to buy it. LOL
Those evil rich folks liberals always hate ya know. Why did Blake resign to a 5 year 95 million dollar contract extension with this team if the old man was such a racist in '12.....why did Paul resign to a five year 107 million dollar contract last year if this guy was such a racist. Or did he fool em. Well they are getting paid so don't care it appears.............but now do as the "mob" screams. JJ Reddick ONLY has a 4 year 27 million dollar contract. He must be making slave wages............lol

Well they all know if they don't say the "right" thing they will be next on the chopping block. Cuban who I never liked much actually said some things but he has shut up now. It will be interesting when a player yaps some nonsense if the NBA will ban them for life. Of course they won't............

Actually, it is the NBA protecting the monetary value of their brand.
Some interesting stuff that I heard on the Ben Shapiro show today. Shapiro is a Harvard law grad.
Sterling does not want to sell the Clippers because of tax consequences. He bought the team for $12.5 million, and it is now worth north of $600 million. If he sells he will have to pay a cap gains tax of 33% on at least 587.5 million. If he keeps the team and passes it on to his heirs who then sell it, their tax would only be on the appreciation from the time they inherited it to the time that they sold it. Home - KTTH
NBA bylaws lay ot the conditions under which an owner may be forced to sell, and being a piggish raciist is not one of them. If the NBA tries to force Sterling to sell, he will be able to sue on that basis, and likely win. He could also transfer ownership of the team to his wife, who could argue that she can't be forced to sell since she had nothing to do with the racial slurs.
Sterling is undoubtedly a pig racist, but could wind up with the last laugh.
It's tough to decide whom to cheer for here: pig racist, or lib media hoist on its own petard, as usual. It's a win-win situation, because one loser or another is going to lose this one.

Yup....
But I am pulling for Sterling. Because I'd love to see a salty mob of hypocrites.
