Reproductive rights will never be equal things, as long as the uterus that is used to raise a baby belongs to women.
All other things:
Spending time with children, chores, work, etc... Can be equal if we choose to make them equal.
No argument, the problem is we give women tons of options of being parents or not during pregnancy and after, which is fine but with males its either wear condoms, get snipped, don't have sex or be responsible for being a parent. A male who doesn't want the responsibility is a deadbeat, but if a woman doesn't want the responsibility its her reproductive right and choice.

People who engage in unprotected sex while not wanting to raise a child are both deadbeats IMO.

Only because courts and laws tend to support this. Women have full control of birth. Men are only needed for money. Men are somehow are tricking women into having sex with them I guess. Women have no control over who they allow to have sex with them apparently.
I love my fellow sisters, i just wish we could live and let live without having politics or personal agendas effect our daily lives. But maybe thats why im a dreamer?
If you leave out the misogyny then its not japeneese culture. A woman being in her place in society is the key of how a society runs. IF you remove that then its not japeneese culture anymore. Most japaneese men don't want to deal with quarlsome women who try to run the show and kick men out on their rear using the court systems. Then they would be the USA lol.
Dude. Let me enlighten you. The UN human rights forums debunked culture-based rationalizations for oppressive practices a long time ago. "Tradition" is no longer an excuse for genital mutilation, for example. Misogyny can't be defended on the basis of culture. Get with it, man. You're, like, 60 years behind the times.
