Interesting.
It sure happens where I work and the policy is very selective about when it is enforced. Women get away with saying things that would get me walked out the gate in a New York minute.

Can you even CONCEPTUALIZE what a post-racial society would be like? Try not to make it sound too Utopian.
Oh, I can. Why all people would have to rise or fall on their own merits, or lack thereof, regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual preference, national origin, etc. None of those would be able to be used as excuses for failure any longer and all that hatred would just have to dry up and blow away.㌽

You need coercion to even REALIZE a post-racial society. This fact is reinforced by you using the vacuum of the workplace as an example.

"There are no racists at my workplace"

Can you quantify this in any significant manner? Are you The Oracle or something? Or do you work in an office that consists of only you and/or your significant other.

I stand corrected. One white person refers to other white people as well spoken.

We are all being USED. Blacks, whites, women, rich, poor, hispanic, illegals, legals, citizens, pro and anti gay, pro and anti pot, pro and anti immigrant, pro and anti abortion. All being used. Like puppets on a string.

To divide us. To distract us. To mobilize us so that we will vote for..........pick a party.

They WANT us to keep pointing fingers at someone - anyone - as long as it's not them.

They deliberately divide - to keep the minions in line and off guard and off balance, so that those in power can stay in power, accumulate more power, accumulate more money, ensure that their friends and family accumulate power and money.

Wake up people! There are racists - but most people aren't. There are haters - but most people aren't. We will NEVER have a better country until we stop being the useful idiots that we are being right now, this minute.

Like puppets on a string.

And no one would dare to refer to a black man as a black boy because there would be hell to pay.

You work with people you get to know them pretty well. Besides racists tend to be people who live, work and play in segregated environments. Hard to be a racist once you are no longer ignorant of the manners of those of other races.

Hmm...

Between which, or on set, of any of the four Lethal Weapons do you think Danny Glover discovered Mel Gibson was a so-called "racist"? lol

Or was it not until 20+ years later when that dreaded phone call got aired out???
