Because the one thing California did right (one of the lone things) during its boom is secure higher education superiority.

That's why I wish we could see who actually stays and goes in a deal like this. I can't imagine the tech nerds being able to stomach Texas after living in Palo Alto.

For the most part the tech nerds don't work for Toyota Motor Sales!

Glad you mentioned it.

The same architect who designed Beverly Hills also designed Highland Park in Dallas.

Rodeo Drive would undoubtably go to Westheimer Blvd. in Houston.

Are you implying Texas doesn't flaunt the pervasive display of income inequality you pointed out in your example that California does? If so, it is true.

Actually I was thinking more of the lush green grass and perfectly manicured yards you find in Beverly Hills. It takes money sure...but more importantly perfect weather for beauty like that to thrive.

Yes, I was.

If you're going west along Santa Monica Blvd or Hollywood Blvd coming from Hollywood it's quite a breathtaking sight to see such lush gardens and yards in the winding neighborhoods of BH.

Then again, Hollywood's physical beauty leaves a lot to be desired so anything would be an improvement at that point.

I wonder if Toyota will cut the salaries of anyone who accepts relocation. They could live as well, I suppose on half the money though I doubt they will see it that way.

You want me to post the perfect lawns and landscaping and topiaries around here?
Is this what the conversation has devolved to?

The majority of parts for Toyotas are made in the US.
