Obama’s approval rating fell to 41 percent, down from 46 percent through the first three months of the year and the lowest of his presidency in Post-ABC News polls. Just 42 percent approve of his handling of the economy, 37 percent approve of how he is handling the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and 34 percent approve of his handling of the situation involving Ukraine and Russia.
Quote:
Obama’s low rating could be a significant drag on Democratic candidates this fall — past elections suggest that when approval ratings are as low as Obama’s, the president’s party is almost certain to suffer at the ballot box in November.

Jimmy Carter version 2.0 continues to be unimpressive. What a terrible President.

Why do 41% still think he's doing a good job. I mean 15% of that 41% are black, so who are the others?

You can read some screen names right here on CD and read their stance.

Although, I read their views and still remain taken aback.

Good question. My suspicion is that these are the people who are dependent on government and/or watch a lot of reality TV. Either way, anyone who still approves of Obama is an imbecile.

Interesting point.

The most recent figure I could find (2009) was that 19% of U.S. families receive benefits from one or more of the following major means-tested public assistance programs: housing assistance (provision of public housing and housing subsidy payments); Medicaid; public assistance (cash assistance from state and local government welfare programs, such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and short-term emergency help); SNAP; and SSI.

"a majority of voters saying they prefer a Congress in Republican hands to check the president’s agenda"

Obama has been wagging his finger at republicans in congress since Obama came into office saying they are not doing their job. In other words, Obama hasn't realized he is president, not a dictator. This is "exactly" what congress is doing, the separation of power. They don't agree with Obama and his agenda and now people are starting to wake up.

They are the people who wish for others to pay their way though taxes

Default Obama's approval rating continues to tank.

Hopefully this carries over into the midterms.
