As a kid growing up in the 60s, I can still remember being made fun of for looking different and speaking with an accent. However, that made me more determined to succeed.
It's pretty ugly to mock someone for their disability and then not even man up and apologize but just delete the picture is weak. The young gentleman has a great attitude about it but his feelings were hurt by someone he once admired.
