Looking for truth is not 'making a political scandal'. There is a lot that we still don't know about Benghazi. The administration hasn't been forthcoming with all they know.
Can't answer the question, can you? Here, let me help you. The correct answer is NONE. Because until this current crop of rabid right wingers came along, everyone understood that embassies could be dangerous places where people often were killed. See the list in post 391 for evidence of how often it happened in the past. Where were all the Congressional investigations, southward?
There were no left wingers attempting to make a scandal out of any of those tragedies when they occurred during a Republican administration. Not a one. Yet here you are, insisting on using four dead Americans to make political hay.
It's unconscionable, but given the behavior of the right during the last six years, no one is surprised. Only repulsed.
Conservatives have no clue what constitutes an impeachable offense. Their silly fantasies about getting this president out of office just go on and on and on and on...
[YAWN]
"Conservatives have no clue what constitutes an impeachable offense"
Pot meet kettle.
Based on your statement I seriously DOUBT YOU KNOW.
Please enlighten us on YOUR vast knowledge on what is and isn't grounds for impeachment.
Who said nobody cares? Only Hillary said it doesn't make any difference what happened, and how, and why.
In other words, who cares about Benghazi? Sounds like that's what you are saying.
Besides, I'm not aware that there were efforts by anyone on either side to cover backsides in all those other events. There does appear to be a concerted effort to cover up in Benghazi, as we know from the lies and a few pieces of information emerging, and from the documents that have been requested but the administration refuses to release.
Truth for its own sake is worth seeking and upholding; it doesn't matter what political party you're a fan of. Truth should not be politicized or compromised because of whose image it might "damage".
I'd love to see people rise above the partisanship, or at least make the effort to do so. Even that I would applaud.
Thank You for caring, and knowing the difference, between lies and truth. Some can't seem to understand the difference.
What do you expect from a liar in office and a lying administration, who think nothing of deceit. All they have done is tried to cover their own azz, for their errors in very bad judgement.
Anyone with half a brain, could see from day one, they were covering their backsides. Your so sensible. Truth for its own sake is definitely worth seeking and upholding, and has not one damn thing to do with any political party. It is getting to the truth of a very important matter, that should mean something to all of us. Politics should be set aside, when there is something as important as this, if one of the 4 who died were your child, you would think differently.
Certain people will never rise above partisanship, because they are so wacked out on the lies and deceit that is fed to them, and they buy it. And as Hillary did say, 'What difference does it make' well Hillary, if your daughter was one of the persons who died that night, I bet it would make a hell of a big difference to you.

Bolded for the pure comedic value. If one didn't know better, one would think this post was a parody. And actually, it is, only the author doesn't realize it. Funny stuff!

Aww, and after you just spent all that time telling us you want the truth, you go and pull a quote out of context and pretend it meant something it didn't. So much for truth.

You guys have already gotten the truth of what happened and didn't like that answer.

So they go back to square 1 and start all over again, it is considered a good use of their time at least among Repubs. Maybe AFTER the newly elected Senators and Congressmen are sworn in they will get back to the REAL business of running the government, or maybe not
Sure. Grounds for impeachment: treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors.
Your turn. Please explain how editing talking points as more information becomes known rises to that level.
"In 1970, then-House Minority LeaderGerald R. Ford defined the criterion as he saw it: "An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history."
Alexander Hamilton, Federalist, no. 65, 439--45 7 March 1788A well constituted court for the trial of impeachments, is an object not more to be desired than difficult to be obtained in a government wholly elective. The subjects of its jurisdiction are those offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men,or in other words from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated POLITICAL, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself.
I'll go with Madison and Hamilton any day considering it is they who wrote they Constitution.
