It's not just one though, there's been several cases, and the situation has become worse since the export ban of certain drugs used in executions to the US by the EU and other countries.

Maybe these murderers and people who bury girls alive, should commit their crimes in a nation of perfect people. Then the lethal injection they get will never go bad, and they won't have the problem.

Until they start doing that, they'll have to take their chances with the rest of us.

Can you imagine the reaction, if these horrific murderers were sentenced to be treated exactly the same as they treated their victims?

well, you don't support death penalty. So there..
I do support death penalty, and one or several lethal injections have gone bad, we just have to do more researches and make the "death" quick and painless. That is all.

So you want to do more experimentation and research on prisoners in the hope that one day you perfect a formula.

Didn't Nazi Germany used to use prisoners in experiments.

As for any drugs involved the EU and other countries will just widen any trading embargo in drugs used for the death penalty.

there are quick and painless ways to kill someone, a bullet in the back of the head is one way, the guillotine is another. and when done right so is hanging. but my question is, why are we being human to people that have committed the most egregious crime against humanity that one can commit, that of coldly taking the life of another?

Bring back the big guy with the big axe and the black hood.

And tell him he loses a week's pay any time he fails to do the COMPLETE job in one stroke.

Then the people whining about the unreliability of some kind of injection, will be happy.

Won't they?

Because we are better than that and because of the 8th Amendment. Courts hand down death sentences not death by torture sentences.

The EU won't let us use their drugs anymore so they are trying the injections with different drugs. I don't like the death penalty but if we are going to do it then maybe we should go back to a hanging or the firing squad.
