Just have a guard put a bullet in the back of the condemned prisoner's head. Hard to screw that up.

Exactly. Somehow the US went off on a tangent about how we execute the scum of the earth. Other Countries just put a slug in their head. How can someone agree to have the death penalty but are too grossed out about how to carry it out? Make it 300K a year and I'll show up tomorrow gun in hand.

Guillotine is actually a very humane way of execution. More than hanging, firing squad or chemical kills. Too bad it has fallen out of favor. It is quick, efficient, and painless.

I'm far, far from conservative but I am still a proponent of the death penalty. I feel that it should only be used when there is irrefutable, photographic/video proof of the crime because of the history of failures of the justice system but I still believe it it has a place in our system of punishments. Must be because I'm Texan.

But seriously, decapitation is very efficient.

The cops should follow..............Police Chief and DA leading the way. That is not the point. You want to excuse all killers for what cops do to a few folks?? Life aint fair............never will be.

Because you and his parents took that position, doesn't mean that others have to. People handle grief differently.

The bozo went fighting all the way. They had to taze him, stick the IV in his groin because his veins weren't any good, and he had apparently tried to injure himself.

Too bad, so sad.

Yes. The latest out is that his vein collapsed and the poison seeped into his tissue slowly prolonging the dying process.

However, I don't think they should do away with the death penalty because of it. It's like doing away with guns because of Sandy Hook, always has to get political and usually the innocent people's freedoms are what's on the chopping block.
