So it is scary for a restaurant to market towards a type of demographic to increase profits? I am confused with this, what is wrong with Subway doing this?
They're not doing it to increase profits.
They're doing it because they don't want their restaurants bombed or burned to the ground, the owners knifed or shot, etc.
And they no longer trust the government to do its main job, which is to prevent those crimes from happening. So they're surrendering.

so if they dont have to pay for repairs and medical bills, wouldnt that also increase their profits? but how many restaurants in britain have been burned, or the owners assaulted because they wouldnt convert to halal foods?

Show proof of this threat to Subway. They started making some shops halal 2007. I'm sure that you can find proof of threats against Subway in the last 7 years.

Good grief. Can you come up with at least two valid examples (reliable links) of where restaurants were bombed or burned to the ground, owners, knifed or shot because they made the decision NOT to stop serving ham or pork?
