Both sides have had good policies and both sides have had bad policies It's the extremism from either that creates the worst policies.

Poverty pimp FDR buying votes with veteran's benefits?

LJB happy to lump returning vets in with his lazy *** mooches?

Who wouldn't have predicted that?

Thanks Harry W. Colmery for creating the GI bill.

Why didnt you quote the next 5 sentences ?

" He reportedly jotted down his ideas on stationery and a napkin at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.[7] U.S. Senator Ernest McFarland, D-Arizona, was actively involved in the bill's passage and is known, with Warren Atherton, as one of the "fathers of the G.I. Bill." One might then term Edith Nourse Rogers, R-Mass, who helped write and who co-sponsored the legislation, as the "mother of the G.I. Bill". Like Colmery, her contribution to writing and passing this legislation has been obscured by time "

But I need the government to take care of me, because I'm too dumb to invest or save for retirement on my own.

2. Again, Clinton tax rates were higher than Obama's and included more people in the higher percentiles

If Clinton is included in the 25 year boom then how is simply raising taxes considered to be the opposite of what happened in the boom ?

3. The majority of this article is comparing dollar amounts from 1981-1988 to 2009,2012, and 2013 (which in and of itself is moronic), as well as comparing Obama tax rates to Bush, not Reagan as it claims( look at the tax rate numbers it describes and the percentage of increases).
