As to the dead actually voting--this from your link:

"County elections commissioner Bill Biamonte said simple clerical errors make it seem as if the dead are voting. For example, a person voting could accidentally sign their name next to a dead person's name rather than their own in a poll registry book.

"There’s no malice, no evil intentions behind this," said Biamonte."Just election day workers or voters making mistakes."

In Michigan, the voter fills out and signs a 3x5 ish piece of paper and a poll worker verifies it (including correct signature) and writes the name in the 'pollbook' (one-time record, specific to that election) and also records the voter on the (permanent) poll list as having voted. The voter isn't allowed to enter their name on the wrong line, that's what poll workers are for.

My state house majority leader clearly explained what voter ID was about. Voter suppression. You folks that think otherwise have an argument with him, not the dems.

I am not sure if you are deliberately distorting or were duped by the distortion, but that is nonsense.

Anyone with a brain looking at Turzai's full comments - makes it clear that he is saying that Romney will win, because voter ID would block fraudulent votes, which favor Democrats. He is not saying that they will suppress legitimate voters. Additionally he was trying to fire up his base at a rally.

Turzai, right or wrong, believes that there is large scale voter fraud and it favors the democrats. Voter IDs will stop this. That is what he clearly believes. You may disagree with him, but it is another thing for you to spread lies about his position.

Isn't it pathetic to take a man's comments out of context of trying to fire up a rally and then twist it into a nefarious meaning that is clearly not intended? You remind me of Glen Beck and that Savage guy claiming that Obama wanted to build a Domestic Force to tyrannize the public instead of what Obama really meant when looking at Obama's speech in full -- Americans doing charity.

We should err on the side of caution. While voting is a constitutional right, as a side note, would anyone really try to argue though that a government issued photo ID should not be required to purchase a firearm or else their second amendment rights would be infringed?

Does any voter identification statute specify that it applies only to Blacks and Latinos?
Aren’t there some 12 million illegal immigrants in this country right now? I am certain that number of votes cast for Obama would sway the election in his favor.
So let's see the evidence otherwise this is BS. 44,000 really lol

You don't REALLY think any leftie on here would take what someone said out of context and twist what was actually said in order to further their agenda would you?
