This is absurd of course the video existed and of course there were violent riots/attacks/protests about that video. This was widely and repeatedly report in multiple media platforms.

So if you are saying that attacks on the video never happened that is flat out incorrect.

Anti-American rage that began this week over a video insult to Islam spread to nearly 20 countries across the Middle East and beyond on Friday, with violent and sometimes deadly protests that convulsed the birthplaces of the Arab Spring revolutions, breached two more United States Embassies and targeted diplomatic properties of Germany and Britain.

You're right. The bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee made it all up.

No one gets anything past you!

That is not true CIA intelligence created the talking points.

The CIA created the talking point about a spontaneous attack inspired by the attacks in Cairo and the attacks in Cairo were inspired by that video.

The former CIA director said that the talking points came from the CIA intelligence.

So what is the cover up?

It is shocking the level of blindness to reality.

And the question remains what is the cover up?

And basically, it seems to be that the whitehouse said something that was later judged to be wrong and so evidently that is a coverup.

But to get from A to B you have to connect the dots. The whitehouse didn't create the talking points.

CIA intelligence created the talking point. This is objective reality. The Senate intelligence committee report contains the talking points, how they were changed and who changed them.

The former director of the CIA said the talking points came from CIA intelligence. There is no where to go on the talking points angle to people paying any attention and yet this farce carries on.

conservatives continue to drift further and further away from reality.

This report shows the emails/notes from the CIA to the white house about the attacks in Cairo which were based on the video inspiring the attacks in Libya.

The report shows how the talking points changed and who changed those talking points.

CIA Strikes Back On Benghazi - The Daily Beast

There is the testimony of the former head of CIA who said the talking points came from the CIA intelligence. In fact the emalis/notes about the talking points shows this as well.

The testimony of the former head of the CIA explains why there was a conflict with the head of station assessment.

Then finally there are the numerous violent attacks that were occurring all around in the middle east that were caused by the video.

So the basic facts are there was a video that existed. This video was causing riots in multiple nations nearly 20.

The CIA intelligence provides the talking points that the attack in Libya was spontaneous and inspired by the attack in Cairo and the attack in Cairo was inspired by the video.

The whitehouse comes out and says this and there is a coverup? Over what?

This is further proof of the disturbing turn towards conspiracy theories and fantasies of the conservative party.

You're trying to expose the lunatic fringe to reality.

They'll never recognize it.

They won’t pass a serious jobs bill, or raise the minimum wage, or reform immigration, but House Republicans think they can earn their pay for the rest of the year by exposing nonexistent malfeasance on the part of the Obama administration. On Thursday, they voted to create a committee to spend “such sums as may be necessary” to conduct an investigation of the 2012 attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya. The day before, they voted to hold in contempt Lois Lerner, the former Internal Revenue Service official whom they would love to blame for the administration’s crackdown on conservative groups, if only they could prove there was a crackdown, which they can’t, because there wasn’t."

Obamacare was supposed to be the star of the show, but since it failed to fail, and contrary to the Republicans' prognostications, the country is still standing (much to their dismay, I'm sure), they had to go to Benghazi, the understudy waiting in the wings.

But not to worry, folks, we know the GOP excels at putting on a show. They obviously have nothing else to do.
The killing of an Ambassador and then lying about it is an "inflated" problem.

How easy it is for liberals to cheapen the truth.

I mean look if conservatives wanted to lie and get on every Sunday Talk Show and say publicly hey I think the President lied or mislead or whatever who cares because to an extent that's just politics, but to carry on and demand these investigations as if there is some unknown mysterious cover up that is very disturbing.

conservatives seem to have the inability to tell political rhetoric from reality.

The humor bar must be set in the gutter if you thought these tweets were funny. It's a testament to how fractured our society has become.
Not me personally, but a 5-year-old would recognize who the intended butt of the jokes are.
