The only future for certain for the Earth is cold and dead. Eons from now the core will finally cool, the magnetic field will go and all life will die and the Earth will be a cold, dead rock in space circling the Sun. That much is absolutely true.

You forgot about the part of liberal logic that says the defense of tollerance means telling everyone that doesnt agree with them to SHUT UP.
The scientists who claim to know everything, have no clue if we will have an El Nino this year, because they have no clue what creates or influences the creation of an El Nino or La Nina.
The last really big El Niño was in 1997/98. It is no coincidence that 1998 is the only remaining year from the past century that still sits in the top 10 for the hottest years, globally, on record.
So we may have a very warm El Nino in 2014, or we may not. But if we do have a warm El Nino, then.... just like 1998 they will blame CO2 for warm temps, even though they have no clue why.
Where I live, people rely on the Farmers Almanac, which has turned out to be more accurate year after year than the so-called climate scientists. I used to be a skeptic. But, the locals would tell me it was going to be a cold winter (or mild) and a hot summer (or cool) and they always seemed to be right.
Last fall, the Almanac accurately predicted the winter we go ... again.
Facts turn into theory when I see as much evidence that discounts them as proves them.
Like CO2 is a RESULT of warming, not a cause. Make way more sense to me. The Earth warms, the ice on the caps melts and releases hundreds of thousands of tons of CO2 that has been pent up for millions of years from a time when CO2 was much thicker on the planet.
The last few years the Earth has been cooler, the Sun's output has decreased on a cycle that will see it's ebb around 2021. THAT is a fact.
No one knows just how profound the effect of the Sun's energy has on the planet. Scientists know very little of the energy the Sun emits.
'Makes sense to me' = you don't actually know what you're talking about. Seriously, every single time... right wingers use notorious anti-intellectual terms like 'common sense' and 'hardworking taxpayers' while legitimate scientists 'don't know what they're talking about'.
You're so used to listening to idiots who keep things simple for you that anyone with a brain in their head automatically becomes suspicious or impervious to 'common sense;.
You're actually saying that CO2 doesn't cause warming at all? I haven't heard that one!
PS: The sun has been cooling over the past 35 years, while temperatures have been rising.
So how do you explain that, exactly? If it isn't the CO2, and it isn't the sun, what's causing the warming?
