Will Detroit Be The First Major Chinese City In The United States?

Chinese homebuyers and Chinese businesses are starting to flood into the Motor City, and the governor of Michigan is greatly encouraging this. In fact, he has formally asked the Obama administration for 50,000 special federal immigration visas to encourage even more immigration from China and elsewhere.

Chinese immigrants could save Detroit: governor

What Snyder plans is to allow Chinese people to buy houses in Detroit. He believes that the state government does not have to spend a penny to save the city because of the new immigration plan, which will benefit the city significantly.

Chinese Creating New Auto Niche Within Detroit

Dozens of companies from China are putting down roots in Detroit, part of the country's steady push into the American auto industry.

...
Last year, the biggest carmaker in China, Shanghai Automotive Industries, opened new offices in suburban Detroit without any publicity, which is almost unheard-of in an industry that thrives on media coverage.

...
In addition to Chinese companies locating in Detroit, a cottage industry of lawyers, accountants and corporate advisers has grown up to assist them. Their numbers are small now, but the impact of the Chinese on the local economy is slowly expanding.

Well, at least one other thing is abundantly clear, that the right wingers will happily climb into bed with any human-rights violating communist regime as just another lame excuse for one more baseless 'leftists' whine.

I have no doubt they will be, but they are more organized and have a culture that does not tolerant shame or failure.

Honestly, I thought it would be Islam that took it over - especially since they are up the road in Dearborn.

LOL, you have no idea about what their culture does or does not tolerate. You're lumping them in with how you view the Japanese are often viewed.

And some of the things their culture does tolerate would probably surprise you.

All that being said, we're not talking about the poor chinese here mainly we're talking about people taking their money and escaping China to live here. Which is truly hilarious if you think about it.

China: Hah! We've manipulated our currency and are making tons of money off you fools while poisoning our environment and working our poor at dirt cheap rates! Look at our rich people!

Rich people move to USA to escape the toxic air....taking the money with them

USA: LOL.
