I think the right people are having abortions.

I totally agree. Many aspects of this story are not how I choose to live my life, but other women need to make the choices that are appropriate for them.

I watched the CNN interview. This woman was dismissive of the value of human life. She was engaged in non-monogamous sex and didn't use any form of birth control. So her lack of responsibility was put on display - yet she really didn't take responsibility except to say "haven't you ever made a mistake? Have you smoked a cigarette?"

Smoking a cigarette is not remotely analogous to having an abortion.

There is not one thing redeeming about her video.

I think it was tasteless for her to post the video. I also think it is tasteless for people to post videos of themselves giving birth, which there is plenty of on You Tube. Some things should simply be private and posting any of these procedures is way too much information.

A woman who is this irresponsible with all of the birth control available to her in 2014(not the Dark Ages) should be called on her ....!

Hope this will change some minds....

The Silent Scream (Full Length) - YouTube

Dr. Bernard Nathanson's classic video that shocked the world. He explains the procedure of a suction abortion, followed by an actual first trimester abortion as seen through ultrasound. The viewer can see the child's pathetic attempts to escape the suction curette as her heart rate doubles, and a "silent scream" as her body is torn apart. A great tool to help people see why abortion is murder. The most important video on abortion ever made. This video changed opinion on abortion to many people.

Since she was only 2-3 weeks pregnant (just missed or a week late period), she did not need to have a surgical abortion. She could have taken RU-486 (NOT same as Plan B) and gone home and miscarried. Probably that would not be "dramatic" enough. Even if she filmed the contents of her toilet bowl, there would be nothing to see that early in pregnancy.

I suppose if she thought birth control pills are scary, I guess she would think that RU-486 would be even scarier.

2 Week old EMBRYOS do not scream. They aren't ripped apart limb from limb. They don't HAVE limbs that early. You cannot tell the sex either at 2 weeks.

Stupidity perhaps? Or perhaps just mental illness. I think she needs to film herself checking into a mental institution. People will do just about anything these days for attention. Maybe she'll film herself masturbating next week. Or douching.
