Remember the story about the king that went around naked and every subject was fawning over his clothes?

He's right. The country is progressive/liberal that's why he runs on those ideals come election time(he doesn't stick to them tho lol).

From raising taxes on the rich, to higher MW, to not cutting SS etc,

This country hasn't been "center right" in a generation but let karl rove tell it, it's still 1986

He's right? Really? Wow, Obamacare is popular? Oh that's right, it's not. Cap and trade is popular? Oh that's right, it's not. Shall I continue?

The head cheer leader was leading cheers to fans who already love the cheer leader's team. What was he supposed to say..."rah rah, we're gonna lose!!"

DNCC fund raiser. Hard to convince to people to open their wallets if you stand at the podium and tell them how bad the party is going to be slapped down this November. And since his primary function as President apparently is making campaign and fund raising speeches for the various arms of the DNC, I'd say he was doing his job properly. Not sure who does the whole "leader of the free world job" since Obama never actually has, but Head Fund Raiser for the DNC...yeah, he rocks that job.

There is some validity to that. To make people open their wallets you have to make them believe its for a good cause. That said, the guy seems incapable about being honest about anything.

If it was just at a fundraiser it would be maybe understandable except in the case where the guy knocks on your door and tells you that he has a little asphalt left over from the last job and will pave your driveway for half price.

Then you get arrested.

Not so much that he is a out of touch President. I believe Obama knows exactly what he is doing and sticking to his agenda.

I believe if anyone is out of touch, it is his supporters and those who donate heavily to him. They have created a person who in my opinion, does not exist.

For them the world revolves around Obama, but here is the thing, We ain't got no sunshine no more, what we have is many cloudy days? And afraid many more storms to weather.

The majority? Hardly.
But gay rights? Yes, but not the way the left wants it.
Gun control? Not the way the left wants it.
Immigration reform? Yes, but not the way the left wants it.
Minimum wage increase? Yes, the opinion of minimum wage workers anyway
Healthcare reform? Yes, but not the way the left wants it.

People want reform and change but not the way the democrats want to cram it down the publics throat.

Was there a point in there anywhere? Besides the fact you agree with me?

Also protip: if the public wants something, and our elected representatives facilitate that, it's hardly cramming it down their throat.

Hyperbole would be fine if you actually had a point, but you don't.
