As a non believer I don't have one of those best selling books that all the God loving Christians own so I do have a question.
Is there a list of people in that book that God says it's OK to hate? Seems to me that many God loving Christians all agree on who they want to hate.
If there is no list in the book then how do you decide who you want to hate? Do you have meetings to discuss who you put on the hate list?
The good thing about being a non believer is I don't have to agree or be swayed by a group to form a hate list.
I know on C-D I have read various posts about who is the favorite people to hate.
Blacks, Jews, Catholics, Arabs, Gays,Liberals have all been mentioned as hate groups and many have been targeted by Evangelical Christians.
So are Evangelical Christians Gods chosen people who have the religious right to hate without any repercussions?
Pretty sure if there was a God those people would be on his s**t list.

The guy asking for protest is not looking for peace, but trouble and division. I see the same sort of thing on some Christian TV shows (some, because most shows are good) where political activism drives the speakers to plant the seeds of division as opposed to planting the seeds of peace. It is not a good thing.

jesus taught us to love thy neighbor as you love yourself. we are also taught to hate the sin but love the sinner. if one is going to truly be christian, one has to divest themselves of hate for people. it is difficult i agree, but it is an attainable goal. and if everyone were to work towards that goal the world would be a better place.

"Hate the sin, love the sinner" is actually something Mamatha Gandhi said, but it is in line with teachings of Jesus Christ. The problem is to be non-judgmental, while not approving sins. Christians are often accused of "judging" as soon as they say they do not approve sins, but the truth is that you don't love people by allowing them to destroy themselves, and I am not referring to homosexuality alone, I am talking about all sins.
Reading the OP, it says he is trying to create a coalition, it does not say he has already amassed anything. This is the 2nd time I point this out to you.

Sorry, I don't buy that BS. It's just a lie you tell yourself to excuse your hatred.
I just read where this evengenical Christian was caught soliciting sex from underage girls via My Space when that was still a thing, and also was a name on the infamous DC madams customer list. So he wants evengenical Christians to impose morality on the NFL? Will he be also asking them to publicly support statutory rape and prostitution?
Burkman is a DC lobbyist--how ironic. A special interests lobbyist going after gay football players just trying to be who they are. Burkman may be sorry he's attracted so much negative attention--he has a few skeletons. He also has 70 clients who may not like his antics. I think we all know whose side Jesus would be on.
