Well, I provided the links to it, so I did show it to everyone. It is in line with the other finding, because it says 12% support (as is), and 49% say it is too soon to tell. If they had asked me, I would have said "too soon to tell". I also would have voted "Keep it, and improve it".
Sure, but "improving" can only accomplished by repeal.
A new poll has some bad news for those who want to repeal Obamacare. A new poll shows most Americans want to keep the law the way it is or just make some minor adjustments.
The CNN/ORC International survey finds 61% of Americans want to leave the Affordable Care Act alone or just make minor changes. Just 38% say the law should be repealed.
Has Obama gutted the law sufficiently to fool the people into thinking it's not all that bad?
Psssst - why do you think he has ignored, waved, and delayed so many key components of the ACA law? Because it's a horribly written, and woefully destructive law, and a even with all Obama's delays and ad hoc rewrites, it's also a incompetently implemented law.
The ACA as it currently it is being implemented, is like just showing a perspective home buyer the front porch and living room, while hiding the broken windows in the back of the house, which were blown out from the recent fire, and hiding the basement which was flooded when the fire department put out the flames.
If you hide the truth from the people, then they're perception of reality will be based in ignorance. So go ahead and applaud, but you are applauding the deception perpetrated by our government, and reveling in the ignorance of the people.
It has nothing to do with what I like or don't like.
Once you start giving people what they perceive as "free money" you can't turn off the spigot.
Bread and Circuses my friend.
Oh, I so agree. We're going to be stuck with this boondoggle and the only 'fix' we'll get will be meaningless incremental fixes that still leave plenty of people uninsured, high prices, and more debt.
Why? Why is mandated insurance and paying for higher risks a good thing?
I said repeal was not a good idea, I did not say anything about higher premiums.
If you want to read about the benefits of mandates etc, you can read up about "health equity and access reform today act of 1993". It summarizes the benefits.
Sure, but "improving" can only accomplished by repeal.
You cannot fix a fatally defective concept.
Yep, Repubs should run exclusively on repealing the ACA....
