The 10th Amendment is very clear and so are the limited power granted to the Federal Government via Article 1 Section 8

Yes the brought their culture with them, which over the next few generations grew more and more interdependent from their home nations, saw the fact their private property and wealth do not belong to the ruling class first last and always but by the people who make and own it.

How were tied of paying for the privilege to be enslaved to a ruling class half a world away in exchange for service they could so easier prove from themselves..

How wanted to be free of the tyranny of a ruling class, of old and failed world view, who wanted to stand as free men before a world of kings, tyrants, and all the evils and horror they create and control.

More proof that revisionist history and straw men are leftist values.

Ummm, unless I missed a very huge change of direction in this discussion, "they" are the young people/voters of this nation. They have as much right to change the cultural/social tenor as you do.

Said who? Says the definitions of the words.

A Democracy is a form of government where the citizens vote directly on the issues.

A Republic is a form of government where the citizens vote for representatives who then vote on the issues on behalf of the citizens who elected them.

People who don't know basic politics shouldn't take such smart ass attitudes. It just makes you look foolish.

What Americans are gaining is the wholesale expansion of Medicaid and $6K 60/40 bronze plans with $5K deductibles that will still land you in bankruptcy court the first time you get sick.

See you in November!

Exactly. This will become apparent to many more people as we get closer to November. People will get sick, and get stuck with the deductible.

76% of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck - CNN

They don't have $5,000 to pay their deductible.
