He raised some good points, but he went a little far.

There isnt much you can say to defend the guy based on everything we know he's done/said. I still think he shouldnt just lose his team over it though. But the guy is a nut job. I dont like Magic Johnson, but in defense of yourself, that is the best you can say, "Magic has the aids what has he done..." I mean come on man. He's crazy. Or just cant think straight at all.

I got about 3 minutes in before I couldn't stomach it any longer. And the Journey instrumental in the background didn't help.

Someone let me know if he "cures" racism at the end.

It really doesn't matter what this guy posts on Youtube. What matters is what the NBA thinks.

What REALLY matters is what the NBA is doing is illegal. Nobody has the authority to do what they are doing to this guy no matter WHAT he said or didn't say. The NBA Constitution and by-laws mention players not owners, but still, even if it did mention owners, what they are doing is still illegal. They can't ban ANYONE for ANYTHING for life and they can't take personal property from someone just because they want to. The NBA is going to find itself in court over this and they ARE going to lose.

By what law? I really want to know. The sale needs to be approved by three quarters of the team owners as per the bylaws.

...please don't bring up the 1st amendment...pretty please.

Who is this dude and why does his opinion matter?

Not to mention several of the points he brings up are, apparently, completely false. He's entitled to his opinion but I didn't hear one single thought-provoking point in his 20+ minute diatribe.

Time will tell, won't it?

I'm betting you're wrong, however.

Youtube blather notwithstanding, it's relatively simple: You buy a team, you play for the NBA, you abide by its bylaws.

Same thing with NFL, MLB, NHL, and any other professional sports league out there. If you don't want to follow the rules, don't sign a contract.
