Out of curiosity--did you support the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan?

Default Hillary voted to invade Iraq

Darn those Democrats!

They just couldn't stop the Pubs from making the dumbest move in American history.

Well, Democrats aren't always exactly known for having spines, now are they?

No senator or congressman ordered our troops to attack.
We can see how liberal diplomacy works by looking at the village idiot in the White House. Lots of dead innocents. Chaos in the Middle East. Add to that our new status of liar and laughing stock of the world. Yea, he made the right call as painful as it was for us. Putin is going to make our choir boy look like a toddler.

That's what I find amusing about these "congress approved it" threads, granted there was a lot of pressure to give Bush whatever he wanted back then but and congress deserves criticism for a lack of debate. Bush invaded a country with no exit strategy, didn't he not listen to his father.

So congress approved a request to make a monumental mistake, seems like Syria would have been a better choice since they also had WMD and used them on their own people.

Nice spin, but it's pretty clear that Republicans are an unmitigated disaster in terms of foreign and domestic policy. The Bush Administration was their masterpiece of failure.

Unlike Saddam Hussein, though, I don't think that either Assad Sr. or Assad Jr. ever fvcked with the U.S. and/or with U.S. oil supplies. Thus, it might have been harder to acquire the necessary support for the U.S. to invade Syria.

Of course, the U.S. might have had more success in trying to invade Libya back then, though as events later showed, it was better to keep Gaddafi in power back then and to have him agree to dismantle his nuclear weapons program and all of his WMDs and then for us to help overthrow Gaddafi later on once some of his own people rebelled against him.

That's not name-calling; it's identification.

"Poopyheads" or something is name-calling.

Those are all words with specific English meanings. Repair to your dictionary if you are confused.
