Texas alone new homes are up 90% from the year before and it has been like that, since 1990.

If it's a national average you are calculating, Texas and Florida are pulling the weight.

Numbers... Manipulate them how ever you wish.

Take 50 states and average it... I bet it is 13%.

Lets look at individual states and compare housing starts.
You will see the areas that are depressed, still depressed and the areas booming, are really booming.(Texas...Florida...North Dakota)

I think you meant 9 percent in Texas. Sales of new homes is certainly not up 90 percent from 2013.

From the year previous, housing starts have been doubling each year in the Austin area, since 1990.

Went from 220,000 in population, to 1.6 million today.

Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and even El Paso are big boom towns, today.

Well, while our housing market is good, it is not in the 90 percent sphere you are suggesting:

From the MBAA last week:

"The MBA's seasonally adjusted index of refinancing applications rose 6.8 percent, while the gauge of loan requests for home purchases, a leading indicator of home sales, dipped 0.1 percent."

It's almost no fun picking on you guys.
