He claims that Democrats only want to see black elected officials occupy low-level offices.
Barack Obama is black. He is also a Democrat. He is also President of the United States.
I rest my case.
Excellent point.
Either party, if guaranteed their candidate would win election in a critical race....would back a multi-racial hermaphrodite atheist with a past affiliation with the nazi party and convictions for child porn.
Now where he would have a valid case would be if he claimed that machine politics and cronyism in some of the democratic bastions around the US freeze some blacks out in favor of donors and relatives....then the answer would be yes.
What conservatives don't get is that there is a BIG difference between:
"Hey, don't run for this office because you're black!!"
VS.
"Hey, there is another person we're backing to run for this office, if you choose to run we won't back you."
The former is racist. The later is just politics as usual. There are all kinds of ethnicity in every state, county, city in both parties that got the "You shouldn't run because you'll have no support" message.
Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill. If Skyes really think he can win, he should run anyway.
.
What, again? After all the Birtherism, the shrieking about how tax cuts are "reparations", the people waving confederate flags, the advocacy for white guys who chase down and shoot black teenagers who were just walking down the street, you still need examples?
At this point, frankly, I won't even bother giving specific examples or digging up YouTube videos of prominent republicans saying white supremacist nonsense. It's not worth the effort.
