"hurts your little feelings..." Seriously? What is this, 3rd grade recess?

The handling of legalization has been a mess up to this point. You don't reverse federal law at the state level. And Atty Gen Holder should not have agreed to the wink & nod deal with WA and CO after they voted to legalize pot.

Now we've got one arm of the admin ( the DOJ) saying that they won't enforce federal law, and another arm, the Bureau of Reclamation, saying that they will. Expect Pres Obama to let us know that he only learned about it from the press.

I win.

What were all of the arguments about legalization?

Now you want me to pay for the damn water?

What next?

You want to government to haul it and deliver to your door for "free?"

Then what?

I'm paying for the National Guard to guard your pot fields?

Oooooppps......

Didn't think about that, did you?

Did you have any idea how freaking easy it would be for me to plan an operation where a small group steals a few tons of weed from someone's private legal fields?

I could do that talking in my sleep, blinded-folded and bound.

Oh, yeah......how short-sighted you all are.....you don't think people will be picking fields clean to get free weed?

Security....yeah it drives up the price.

And then them pesky "wild" (snicker) fires.....they can happen anywhere.....up in smoke.....Supply & Demand....prices rise.

Like I have always said....no one living or dead has ever seen a "War On Drugsā„¢."

It was never your government that you needed to fear.

Then I guess dope-smokers unite and start a bucket-brigade to get water to the fields.

It's not my problem...and I'm not paying one stinking dime...

Mircea

Mircea, I think your just coming at me out of revenge. Your not even making an argument. Your a hell of a poster though.

Horse pucky. That land was in his family for many generations. So you're saying it's okay for the government to take over land because hell, you don't need that right now, but damn it, you need the water for the pot, we can't have the government control that?

Hypocrite.

But it is not legal. It remains illegal under the Harrison Act of 1914, supported by progressives, and signed into law by Democrat Woodrow Wilson. If advocates can get together and effect a repeal of the Harrison Act, then fine. But I doubt that that is going to happen in this day and age of Obamacare, with the taxpayer on the hook for health care costs.

I'm a libertarian. If you want to smoke marijuana, fine, it's your body, your life. But if I as a taxpayer am going to get a bill for the consequences of your choice, that's a different kettle of fish.

What are the consequences in your imagination you will have to pay for?

LOL, the idea whether it works or not is to find water, not create it. Of course one isn't going to locate water where there is none.

Marijuana's health effects: Memory problems, addiction

Upper respiratory problems, heart problems, and brain damage (which could lead to confusion of what is real, and what is imagination).
