ya think? the problem is that man can do nothing about it since it is a natural cycle. the planet has been warming and cooling for 4.5 billion years, and will do so for another 3 billion years when our sun start to run out of fuel and expands ultimately buring up the planet.
Oh noes, someday billions of years from now the sun will burn up the planet....We may as well give up!
What is happening today is not part of the natural cycle, that is unless you think that humans unlocking mega tons of CO2 by burning fossil fuels releasing methane, and slashing and burning forests is natural....I certainly don't...
Yup, the republicans are determined to go down with the ship, and take the whole world with them...Such stupidity is unbelievable.
7 billion people on the planet and the whole thing is going to be destroyed because of a couple hundred Republicans in Congress. You say this and then you remark on unbelievable stupidity? Ironic is the word that comes immediately to mind.
I guess we'll have to figure out how to air condition the planet. This will require trillions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of natural gas. Drill baby drill
The quickest way to slow down the pollution is to force China and India to clean up their acts. They account for more than 50% of the chemical tonnage being poured into the atmosphere.

If the republicans and the people they have hoodwinked have their way the planet won't be destroyed, but life on it will be in for a world of hurt....Fortunately climate change denial is mainly an American phenomenon....Most of the rest of the people in the world have some sense.

Humans haven't lived on this planet for 4.5 billion years, our survival of the human race depends on how we adapt to changes regardless of how they happened.

oh please, that is the fantasy of the alarmists. remember that man IS part of nature, its not like we were put on this planet by space aliens out of the blue, as it were. the last ice age was forced on the planet by a super volcano eruption, that particular eruption nearly wiped man off the face of the earth also. this is no different. that are plenty of things that drive the heat in the oceans, plenty of undersea volcanos that are constantly spewing heat and CO2 into the oceans all around the world. and yet somehow you want ot blame man for everything. but you cant prove that and you know, so all you can do is screech about how man is screwing up everything, and hope that people believe you.

Maybe the global alarmists would be better off getting a head start on cooling the Sun, and figuring out to extend its life.
