I like to see a President, any of the Presidents, get out, stretch their legs ... and witness/experience, even if just a little, how people outside the 'bubble' move about and stop to talk with a few. Unfortunately, we live in a time when doing so isn't always safe to do.

IIRC, he hasn't done that since the walk where he met Joe the Plumber.

And it's easy to see why.

The Secret Service can (and does) protect him from people who are dangerous to him.

But they can't (and it's not their job) to protect him from facts that are dangerous to his agenda.

Uh-oh. I talked about politics in the "Politics and Other Controversies" forum. A clear violation of the TOS!

According to liberals, anyway.

I have no use for the guy but I was still interested in watching. It's just a glimse into the reactions he gets.

I noticed that. He might have told them to keep their seats. The video was edited.

Is there something political about the President taking a walk?

Anyway, it brought a smile to my face to see the prez meeting the general public!
