Where I work we get paid on average of $24.00 an hour. Last year a guy was fired after he was filmed injecting his own seaman into the yogurt in a woman's lunch.
Money doesn't buy class. Look at hollywood and professional sports, big money and a whole lot of scum.
Who knows if the story is true? However; there are numerous cases in which restaurant workers have doctored the food. Whether they're well paid or not, it takes a special kind of douche to mess with someone elses food! If you do so, and are caught, you're lucky if you only get fired. From what I gather it's a serious crime to contaminate food.
I forget the name of the movie, but when they had a rude customer the entire staff would donate to the dish. That is why when I eat out I am never rude to the staff. You have no idea what is happening behind those kitchen doors.

If the accusations are proven to be truthful, and the employees did in fact do this ... they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows. Assault, attempted murder/homicide ... whatever. Send the message to other food service workers.
Article says she immediately called the manager over and the lab confirmed 2 different "special sauces" on the sandwich. Plus they fired 2 guys over the incident.
Probably going to need more details on the facts of the case to decide.
