Why are you blaming Obama when illegal immigration has never been dealt with by either party. I think the problem is all these babies being born who automatically become citizens. I think we are the only country who does this.
Who is the current POTUS? Who made the statement that illegals would have to follow the same path as legals? Who said no head of line pass?
Who paraded a chemical engineer who is also an illegal on stage and represented her as the average illegal? The man trying to sell illegals to the American people.
The Obama-haters will never acknowledge that fact. The Speaker of the House asked the President to demonstrate his determination to curtail the flow of illegals from Mexico ... and he did that. Then the America-haters in the Tea Party wing of the GOP refused to support the Speaker's plans to move the immigration reform legislation. Nothing this President does will ever be enough to shut-up the hate mongers. That ilk would rather see the nation fall to its knees than see the nation move forward under this President's leadership. They're called the American Taliban for a reason.
"Stopping them at the border" isn't actually a deportation -- if they stopped at the border, then they never made it out of their own country in the first place -- technically they aren't even illegal yet. And stopping people at the border isn't what deportation used to mean.
If they're counting everyone they see get close to the border but then turned away, they can't even be certain they ever intended to actually come over -- yet that is what "deportation" now means.

Obama also took an oath of office where he promised to uphold the laws of the USA --- yet every chance he gets, he tells foreigners who are here illegally that he's not going to uphold the laws, he's going to get rid of them.
