Great post. I don't have the numbers at hand but I think many more Asians voted republican more than democrat back in the 70s & 80s. In that sense I do think the Asian vote has shifted to the left. The Asian vote has gone left and joined the Jewish vote.....Jews & Asians share many of the same demographic positives concerning education & success. It's a troubling trend for the GOP.
Mine came out 53 percent democrat. I feel dirty. At least in my home state its 3-1 republican
Don't feel dirty, especially if you have an Irish or English surname. Many of those surnames were passed on to black slaves. We all know that blacks today align overwhelmingly with Democrats.
52 to 48 Republican, though it varies by state. This is my husband's last name, not my maiden name. In his home state of Nebraska, where there are a lot of them, it's 51 to 49 D. 60% of us vote, higher than average. My maiden name is 50/50, including in my home state of PA. 51% vote, still higher than average.
Cool link.
