It's people like you that let dictators take over.
Go read your history on ones that took over with ZERO force.
What they did was "win the hearts of the people" who blindly fell in line with no question.
Fear and the promise of total safety is well known propaganda.

When both parties come together to cover it up is when the red flag should go up.
When the content being exposed is pushed to the side and the messengers take the focus of the press via demonizing them and trying to tarnish their reputation is when you should sit up and take notice.

Actions speak louder than "cooperation".

There are dissenting voices, and then there are dissenting actions.

The Government was willing to agree to disagree with him.

But noooooooo!

He had to go off fully cocked!

Hollywood is sooo jealous.

Snowden was a whistleblower until he flew to China with all of his secrets and then put them online. At that point he became a traitor. He deserves nothing less than to be in jail for the rest of his life.

Yet you ask for what. Go back and find the CFR's he violated in an earlier post.

I am not against whistleblowers. He could have gone to his Congressman or Senator and invoked whistleblower protections. Yet he took it upon himself to reveal what never should have been revealed. He violated Federal Law. He essentially committed espionage. He needs to be tried, convicted and shot.
They knew & allowed the illegal spying to go on. Why would you report the crime to the criminals?

Actually he went to Hong Kong and it was the Guardian and Washington Post that put them online.
Reading is FUNDAMENTAL and comprehension of what you read is even more important.

I suspect the same people would support trying & executing the members of the press who exposed the Governments crimes as well.

The MSM did turn on Greenwald and commented publicly about his "aiding and abetting" Snowden.

When the issue with Rosen/DOJ investigation came out and that their phones/computers were being spied on is when they woke up themselves. Maybe they realized that they were no safer than Greenwald when it came to publishing articles against the government.
