No. I was sarcastically responding to shooting4life who is trying to absurdly draw parallels between coming out of the closet and carrying a long gun in public places.
I am drawing parallels between the publics reaction to both.
I support their right to do this, however I wonder if too many people decide to open carry, if it won't be like all the people who make their harley motorcycles super loud, that if enough people do it, public backlash will be created and laws will be created making open carry illegal, just like laws could (and should) be made banning motorcycle exhausts you can hear 1/4 to 1/2 mile away because they are so loud...
These people will only get away with it as long as enough people do not complain.. it's complaining that gets laws changed, for better or for worse. You can argue that goes against the constitution, but you know and I know they don't care about that and it won't matter.

What will probably happen is more people will do it, and nothing happens, then at some point no one actually notices anymore.
<--------------aplcr0331 = Gun owner, Marine, Trained Killer. I conceal when I carry. I don't trust the cops one iota. The SCOTUS ruled that police do have a duty to protect, I know this.
That being said, I don't live in fear. When we all recount the likely hood of being the victim of a crime to these scared women that are afraid of guns, I believe those statistics. I don't need to carry my AR-15 around and show it off. I don't want people to know if/when I'm carrying.
I support these aholes right to carry, even openly. I'm saying it does not help the cause. Not that I don't agree with it.
lol, the cops have a duty to protect the population as a whole, not the individuals.
I have no problem with open carry. I prefer concealed carry, but support people using their rights and not acting like sheep.
Don't be a sheep.
I suggest that those texas cowboys marching around Chipotles with ARs carry a sign that says "I am not a sheep" for clarification. Otherwise, nobody will know the difference.

Dream on, Dreamer!
